Detail of Midge's new work, 'Garden-Autumn-Night'. Strip patchwork, cut & cut again, machine sewn and machine embellished. Some hand stitchery was used on applique flowers. All fabrics found in Midge's studio collection, remnants of old dresses,skirts,trousers,scarves,curtains and a bathing costume.
